The success of the film The Boy 2016 made STX Entertainment produce its sequel, entitled Brahms: The Boy II. The film is directed by William Brent Bell, who made his first film. Katie Holmes ( Batman Begins, Logan Lucky, Dawson’s Creek ) leads the cast as “Liza,” with Christopher Convery ( Gotham, The Girl in the Spider’s Web ) to co-star as his son “Jude.” Owain Yeoman ( American Sniper ) joins as her husband, “Sean,” and Ralph Ineson ( The Witch, Guardian of the Galaxy, Harry Potter ) will play the role of “Joseph.”
It was written by Stacey Menear, who also wrote its predecessor, Lakeshore Tom Rosenberg will produce the Boy 2, Gary Lucchesi and Eric Reid, alongside Matt Berenson, Jim Wedaa and Roy Lee.
It is planned that the film will be released on July 27, 2019, but postponed to December 6, 2019. The reason for the delayed broadcast schedule maybe because it coincides with the release of Chucky Child Play’s and Annabelle Comes Home which has the same market.
Unaware of the horrific history of Heelshire Mansion, a young family moved to a plantation, where their young son immediately made unsettling new friends, puppets like having a terrible life which he called Brahms.
